Job Description

An Automation Testing Professional is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality. Key duties include creating and maintaining test scripts, setting up test environments, analyzing test results, and collaborating with development teams to identify and fix bugs. This role uses automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and speed up the software release cycle.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement automation:
Create and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and test plans based on software requirements.
Execute tests:
Run automated test scripts, including functional, regression, and performance tests, across various environments and devices.
Identify and report defects:
Log and track defects, providing detailed documentation for developers to resolve.
Collaborate with teams:
Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve the testing process.
Analyze results:
Evaluate test results, generate reports, and make recommendations for improvements.
Maintain and improve efficiency:
Continuously update and enhance existing test scripts and explore new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
Manage test environments:
Set up and configure test environments for executing automated tests.
