Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team for a critical project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, strong expertise in Selenium and API testing, and familiarity with Jira and AI coding assistants like Cursor. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using Selenium and API testing tools
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Create and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve defects
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Utilize Jira for test management and defect tracking
• Leverage AI coding assistants (such as Cursor) to enhance productivity and code quality

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3to5 years of experience in automation testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and API testing (REST, Postman, etc.)
• Proficiency in Jira for test management and defect tracking
• Experience using AI coding assistants (Cursor or similar)
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
