Automation Tester

As an experienced Automation Tester with expertise in Java, Selenium, and modern automation frameworks, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing. - Creating scalable and maintainable test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and supporting tools. - Working extensively with the Karate Framework for API testing, performance testing (Karate Gatling), and mock services. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring reliable, repeatable test execution. - Using AI-based tools to accelerate automation development, debugging, and test optimization. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios, identify defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables. - Preparing detailed test reports, logs, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. - 3-6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium. - Strong hands-on experience with the Karate Framework including API, Performance testing using Karate Gatling, Creating and maintaining mocks. - AI enhanced automation skills such as ChatGPT / GitHub Copilot for script creation, refactoring, and debugging, AI-assisted root cause analysis, AI-driven test case generation and script optimization. - Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices. - Ability to analyze requirements, design efficient test scenarios, and troubleshoot complex automation issues. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.,
