Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand UT application features/operations and derive testing requirements.
• Design, review, and execute manual test cases.
• Report, track, and verify defects, collaborating closely with the development team.
• Automate test cases using Robot Framework and Python scripting.
• Maintain and validate automated regression test scripts for release candidates.
• Review, analyze, and share test execution reports.
• Prepare comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases using standard test design techniques.
• Perform system testing and analyze test logs for debugging support.
• Work with databases (SQL, SQL Developer) for query execution and validation.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Robot Framework

  and

  Python scripting

  .
• Experience testing

  .NET Windows applications

  that interact with hardware systems via various communication protocols.
• Practical exposure to

  Ignition SCADA platform (Inductive Automation)

  .
• Familiarity with

  PLC logic

  and industrial communication protocols (

  Modbus, OPC-UA

  ).
• Good understanding of

  Testing Methodologies

  and

  System Testing

  practices.
• Proficiency in using defect tracking tools (

  Jira, Bugzilla, TestTrackPro, HP ALM, TFS

  ).
• Hands-on experience in

  test execution, defect analysis, and reporting

  .
• Database experience with SQL queries and tools like

  SQLDeveloper

  .

Desired Skills

• Prior experience with

  industrial automation systems
