Automation QA

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for testing consumer electronics products related to Smart TVs, Set-top Box (STB), and other multimedia products. Your key responsibilities include: - Automation skills with Python and Behavior Driven Development (BDD). - Experience in working with Smart TVs, Set-top Box (STB), or any Multimedia Products. - Knowledge in wireless networking, including configuring and testing routers. - Expertise in streaming video and audio analysis. - Proficiency in subjective and objective audio and video qualification. - Understanding of audio and video codec knowledge. - Experience in OTT (Over-The-Top) Application Testing. - Familiarity with broadcasting standards like ATSC, DVB, and MPEG. - Ability to write and execute test plans for consumer electronics products. - Experience with home networking functionality, Wi-Fi, and audio/video streaming, including knowledge of audio/video codecs (HLS, MP4, MKV, etc.). - Experience in using automation frameworks, writing scripts, and executing test procedures. - Good understanding of the software development life cycle and various testing techniques. - Willingness to verify functionality against specifications and product requirements. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications required: - BE/B.Tech in E&C, CS, or equivalent. - Proficiency in tools like JIRA, TestRail, or any other Bug tracking tool and Test Management Tool.
