Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 15-20 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for web applications using Selenium and mobile applications using Appium.
• Create robust, scalable, and reusable automation scripts using industry-standard design patterns.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
  

Test Execution & Management

• Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report defects with detailed logs and steps to reproduce.
• Identify automation candidates, maintain test data, and ensure maximum coverage across regression and sanity suites.
• Continuously improve automation performance, stability, and efficiency.
  

Framework Enhancement

• Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for performance, maintainability, and extensibility.
• Implement best practices for version control, code quality, and documentation in automation projects.
  

Collaboration & Quality Ownership

• Partner with developers and QA leads to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation requirements.
• Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and support team members in solving technical challenges.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  

Technical Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, specifically with Selenium (Web Automation) and Appium (Mobile Automation - Android/iOS).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript (Java preferred).
• Solid understanding of testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha/Jest.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git), and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Familiarity with API automation using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile emulators, real device testing, and parallel test execution.
  

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and debugging abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, Agile product teams with ownership and accountability.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based test platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Exposure to performance testing or security testing tools.
• Contributions to QA process improvements and automation innovation
