Project Overview

We are seeking Automation Engineers that will be responsible for the analysis, design and development of automated test scripts while working in an agile environment.

Contractors Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using an existing automation framework in JAVA and Selenium plus other related technologies to ensure the quality of our applications. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in software application testing, developing automated test scripts and good communication skills.

Skillset

• Expertise in Selenium with Java, Rest Assured, Appium for Mobile Testing. Knowledge in Playwright automation tool ideal but not required
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as BDD-Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency in web automation and browser compatibility testing, API testing, backend testing.
• Familiarity with Cloud migration testing process ideal but not required
• Familiarity with GitHub co-pilot, any other AI tool that enhances test scripting capability is a plus but not required

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project teams to define test cases, prepare test plans, and execute automated tests for smoke, sanity, functional, regression and end-to-end workflows
• Automation Test Script Development: Design, implement, re-factor and maintain automated test scripts.
• Develop and enhance reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Continuous Integration (CI): Integrate test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline for automated test execution and reporting.
• Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify, document, and report issues/bugs found during functional testing, and work with developers and product owners to resolve them.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and accurate bug reporting.
• Test Data Management: Create and manage test data for automated tests, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on automation test scripts, procedures, and results for future reference.
