Automation Development Engineer 3

You will be collaborating with Comcast as an Automation Development Engineer 3 based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With 5 to 7.5 years of experience, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and integrating new software and web applications. Your role will involve analyzing technical requirements, designing applications, supporting development, and customizing existing applications. Additionally, you will assist in training staff on internal software applications. Your core responsibilities will include conducting analysis to determine integration needs, supporting the software update process, and participating in training representatives and operations staff. You will be tasked with researching, writing, and editing technical documentation, monitoring competitive applications, and providing technical leadership throughout the design process. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure applications meet specifications. As an Automation Development Engineer 3, you will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies and the ability to apply process design skills. You will also present and defend architectural and technical choices to internal audiences, display project management skills, and exercise independent judgment in significant matters. Your role will require consistent attendance, including nights and weekends if necessary. In this role, you are expected to understand and apply the company's Operating Principles, prioritize the customer experience, and stay informed about the latest technology and products. Collaboration and teamwork are key, as you will work with junior-level Software Development Engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services. Additionally, you will be an active participant in the Net Promoter System and contribute to the company's growth and success.
