Automation Design Engineer

As an Automation Designer, you will be responsible for developing, programming, and coordinating industrial automation installations to ensure compliance with client requirements, company standards, and regulations. Your primary focus will be delivering cost-effective and technologically advanced solutions. Your core responsibilities will include carrying out tasks assigned by superiors with responsibility, designing and developing automation solutions by assessing feasibility, materials, prototypes, costs, and benefits, integrating and installing automation and robotic systems, performing maintenance on automation systems as needed, sizing projects for proposals, preparing budgets, and analyzing feasibility, selecting components for budgeting and execution, supporting production for proper assembly of projects, organizing and archiving project documentation, maintaining production records for ongoing projects, preparing technical reports on tests and inspections, using and caring for company equipment and PPE, following SGQAS requirements to improve efficiency, sorting waste correctly, and assisting in creating instruction manuals. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of automation designer experience, a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience. You should also possess strong expertise in KUKA WorkVisual, RobotStudio, TIA Portal, and PLC programming software. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person.
