AutoCAD Designer

Job Title: AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman Location: [Nagpur Office / Site Based Department: Design & Engineering Reports To: Design Head / Project Engineer / Manager

Job Summary:

The AutoCAD Designer is responsible for preparing precise 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and technical designs using AutoCAD and related software. The role involves translating design concepts, site measurements, and client requirements into accurate working drawings for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD.
• Create layouts, plans, elevations, and sections as per project requirements.
• Draft furniture, electrical, plumbing, or architectural drawings as instructed.
• Revise drawings and layouts based on comments from engineers, architects, or clients.
• Maintain drawing records, version control, and document management.
• Coordinate with site engineers and designers to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, material take-offs, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with company and project standards.
• Support the design and project teams with technical documentation.
• Visit project sites when required for measurements or verification.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering / architectural drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email communication).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred (freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may also apply).

Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 (depending on experience and knowledge)
