AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings using various CAD software to support our construction and engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, drafting techniques, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and MicroStation.
• Create schematics and construction drawings that meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs align with project requirements.
• Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization and design coordination.
• Perform mechanical design tasks, including drafting and modeling components.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from team members.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
• Ability to create accurate schematics and detailed drawings.
• Familiarity with construction processes and industry standards.
• Experience in 2D animation is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
