ARCON PAM L3 Support Engineer

Job Title: ARCON PAM L3 Support Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview:

The ARCON PAM L3 Support Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and administration of ARCON Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, implementing configurations, managing integrations, and ensuring the smooth operation of the PAM environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in ARCON PAM, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

PAM Administration and Support:
- Manage, configure, and maintain the ARCON PAM platform.
- Monitor and resolve escalated L2/L3 incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide permanent resolutions to recurring issues.
Implementation and Configuration:
- Support deployment, upgrades, and patches of the ARCON PAM solution.
- Configure policies, workflows, and access controls to meet security and business requirements.
- Manage integrations with Active Directory, SIEM, ticketing systems, and other tools.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of ARCON PAM issues.
- Analyze and optimize system performance and stability.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and company policies.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including SOC, IT, and network teams for seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, user guides, and technical designs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to L1/L2 support teams.
Audit and Reporting:
- Conduct regular audits of privileged accounts and PAM configurations.
- Generate and review reports on PAM activities and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ARCON PAM, including implementation, configuration, and support.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation tasks.
Security Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IAM, and PAM concepts.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS).
Integration Skills:
- Experience integrating PAM solutions with Active Directory, LDAP, SIEM, and ITSM tools.
- Knowledge of network and security protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, VPN).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as ARCON PAM Certified Professional, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent.
Experience with other PAM tools (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, etc.).
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid PAM implementations.
