Position Summary

Level: Junior Associate

As an experienced Junior Associate at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.

Work you’ll do:

• Complete daily financial clearance tasks, including collecting and recording pre-registration information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and document details in Epic.
• Confirm active insurance coverage for procedures and clarify benefits, coverage limits, effective dates, and patient liabilities.
• Generate price estimates for patients.
• Review patient visits to determine if authorization is needed, secure authorizations promptly per payor criteria.
• Mentor less experienced team members on revenue cycle, payer, and policy issues.
• Share lessons learned to foster innovation and improvement.
• Help the team connect their work to the broader mission and address unexpected challenges.
• Model ongoing learning, growth, and self-care; empower and coach others.
• Take ownership of outcomes and support improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 0 - 6 months of hands-on experience in US Healthcare.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Basic Excel/MS Word skills for data analysis and reporting
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
