The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.PURPOSEThis role is responsible for the success of one or more internal or external projects, delivering the agreed scope on time, on budget, and at the targeted quality level, or assisting a Project Manager, Programme Director with managing a project or subproject
Key Responsibilities
All of these key responsibilities are carried out by an Associate Project Manager for sub projects or alternatively are carried out on behalf and under the guidance of a more senior level project Manager
- Manage the successful Delivery of customer facing or internal projects and deliver to the agreed scope, quality, on time, on budget and to customer.
- Expectations: Methodology and interlock with partners/resource pool owners.
- Manage the Delivery phase versus the agreed baseline per defined SITA project management Methodology, delivery tools and processes, to Manage and reduce overall risks and issues and to maximize profitability whilst managing scope and other changes and taking action to recover any discrepancies.
- Work with all interlocks to find alternate solutions when delivery is at risk.
- Manage the delivery performance to ensure project orders are delivered in time and closed in time into the tools to allow SITA in time Revenue.
- Be involved from quotation stage to ensure End-to-End Delivery performance. Work closely with all End-to-End interlocks (Solution Design, Commercial Management, Account Management, Deployment Specialist, Billing, Operations)
- Customer facing role to ensure full customer satisfaction and all the time communication throughout the project life and support the Account Manager and Business Management in ensuring SITA meets its commercial objectives for the project and develops its relationship with the customer.
- Manage risks and issues and own escalations (in liaison with line management) and ensure customers ful-fill their obligations and recover costs in case of lapses.
- Generate change Requests as required and obtain appropriate customer and internal approvals, in line with project governance standards and ensure all project meetings are documented to reduce miscommunication risk and Ensure traceability of decisions.
- Manage third party suppliers, both internal and external, in order to secure the delivery targets.
- Represent the project externally and internally by communicating and reporting on project status to the customer and internally to all stakeholders.
- Produce regular and accurate progress professional reports and present the project status at the project Review Board meetings.
- Ensure effective transition to SITA Operations and Billing and conduct a formal project close, including Review of any lessons learned.
Obtain documented customer acceptance of the project deliverables and a conduct customer Satisfaction survey at end of the project.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCEIdeally 05 year or more in Project Management having managed with a proven Project Management methodology one or more small projects with budget responsibility in a commercial environment - Ideally 1-3 years in IT solutions provider environment with knowledge of SITA-like products and underlying technologies
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of IT and ATI industries - Able to operate within virtual teams.
- Professional competency in MS EXCEL - Pivot table - able to create professional reports.
- Competent in MS PowerPoint - able to create professional presentation to present the performance of the delivery.
- Competent in MS Office, messaging, on-line purchasing, web-conferencing systems
- Competent in MS projects or other project management tool
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of network architecture and component
- Good Understanding of LAN & WAN technology.

Education & Qualifications
* University degree or equivalent experience*Formal project management training and certification - PMP desired but not mandatory
