Associate Engineer- Graphics Test

As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, and modifying test cases to validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and specialized utility programs for cutting-edge products. You will collaborate with various engineering teams and functions to implement test plans effectively. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 1 year of work or academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. and 1+ year of experience with Software Test or System Test, including developing and automating test plans and tools like Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools. In this role, you will apply your software and systems knowledge to support the design, development, and validation of test cases for various software components. You will be responsible for designing and implementing basic test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to identify code failures and write functional tests to ensure feature functionality. Additionally, you will assist in identifying, analyzing, and documenting software defects while collaborating with project teams to achieve project objectives and improve product quality. Your responsibilities will include working under supervision, with decision-making impacting your direct work area or work group. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential to convey basic factual information. You will be required to perform tasks that involve multiple steps and require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to complete effectively.,
