Description
The company Disprz is seeking an Associate Director/Lead UI/UX Designer who can transform their software into user-friendly products for clients. The responsibilities of the Associate Director/Lead UI/UX Designer include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, building navigation components, and overseeing a small team of 1 or 2 Designers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating functional and visually appealing features that cater to client needs and contribute to expanding the customer base. Key responsibilities of the role are: - Collaborating with product managers and engineers to gather and assess user requirements - Demonstrating high-quality design practices across all aspects of UX, including research, ideation, interaction design, and visual design - Leading design strategy activities to understand user needs and business opportunities, generate solutions, develop a holistic product vision, and create roadmaps for achieving the desired outcomes - Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive design language system encompassing guidelines, components, patterns, and best practices for UI/UX design - Ensuring that design team workflows align with style guides and uphold high-quality standards - Creating design concepts through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps - Hands-on involvement in designing graphic user interface elements, developing UI mockups and prototypes, and troubleshooting UX issues - Mentoring and guiding a team of UI/UX designers to foster a collaborative and productive work environment The ideal candidate should possess: - At least 8 years of experience in Product or UI/UX Design roles - Minimum 1 year of experience working on products targeted for the US Market - Experience with B2B platforms/products - Leadership experience of at least 2 years in mentoring UI/UX designers - A portfolio showcasing design projects - Proficiency in wireframe tools like Balsamiq, Whimsical, Wireframe.cc, and InVision - Proficient in design & prototyping software such as Figma (mandatory), Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop - Understanding of web, iOS, and Android platforms and experience in designing products for all - Track record of designing and optimizing high-quality product experiences for various platforms - Expertise in UX interaction and design principles, rapid prototyping, concept diagrams, user scenarios, wireframes, flows, and design patterns - Ability to lead large projects from inception to completion, navigating through ambiguity and unstructured requirements This position is open in Chennai, Mumbai, or available for remote work.,
