Key Responsibilities
Quality Engineering & Modernization Leadership
- Lead QA strategy and execution for modernization initiatives, including microservices migration, API-first design, and multi-cloud adoption (Azure, AWS, GCP or hybrid).
- Define quality standards and frameworks aligned with cloud-native, distributed, and event-driven architectures.
- Drive end-to-end testing strategies for modernized componentsAPIs, microservices, streaming pipelines, containers, and serverless functions.
Hands-On Technical Leadership
- Actively contributes to automation framework design, coding, debugging, and observability of test suites.
- Ensure automation is integral to CI/CD pipelines across cloud and containerized environments.
- Introduce fault-injection, chaos testing, and resilience testing for multi-cloud deployments.
Deriving Measurable Business Value
- Drive business value through automation, efficiencies, and intelligent tooling by reducing cycle time, minimizing manual effort, improving release predictability, and lowering cost of quality.
- Translate automation outcomes into measurable KPIs such as improved throughput, reduced defect leakage, productivity gains, and operational savings.
- Identify high-impact automation opportunities across Development, QA, Data, and Operations to enhance ROI and shorten delivery timelines.
Data Quality & RCM Domain
- Own data quality validation for transactional, operational, and analytical data flows within a multi-cloud ecosystem.
- Design rigorous testing frameworks for ETL/ELT workflows, FHIR/HL7 formats, and RCM-specific datasets.
Release, Observability & Risk Management
- Manage the quality pipeline across legacy, modernized, and hybrid components during multi-cloud transition.
- Build observability-driven quality processes using logs, metrics, traces, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Communicate risks clearly and block releases when quality, compliance, or data integrity is at risk.
Process, Metrics & Tooling
- Own QA metrics across modernization efforts (automation coverage, defect leakage, deployment validation time, cloud performance quality KPIs).
- Drive adoption of Jira (or similar tools) as the single source of truth for planning and tracking.
- Continuously optimize automated regression suites to support blue-green, canary, and progressive deployments.
AI & GenAI-Driven Quality Innovation
- Use AI/GenAI to auto-generate tests, predict defects, validate data at scale, analyze logs, and enable autonomous, self-healing tests.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Hire, mentor, and grow a world-class QA engineering team skilled in cloud, automation, and data testing.
- Foster a culture that embraces experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Architects, SREs, Product Managers, and Cloud Engineering to ensure end-to-end quality in the modernization journey.
