Job Description

Role Overview: You should have a good understanding and knowledge of SAP HANA Database architecture, along with knowledge of Basic Linux operating systems. Your responsibilities will include HANA installation, upgrade, and renaming of HANA instances as part of Administration. You will also need to have knowledge of HANA backups and recovery concepts using traditional and Backint methods. Additionally, you will be performing DB restarts and troubleshooting issues related to the same on MDC/Non-MDC environments using both OS level commands and studio. It is essential to have experience in installing HANA 2.0 MDC end to end and performing DB client upgrades, add-on installations, and handling related issues. Key Responsibilities: - Upgrade Hana Version to different SPs in HANA 2.0 box - Monitor alerts triggered from HANA studio and take necessary actions to suppress them - Apply licenses for HANA systems using OS/Studio environments - Manage audit logs and enable audit logs for users - Enable/disable different types of traces for performance analysis - Perform end-to-end system health checks - Manage HANA user management - Troubleshoot issues related to Backup-recovery, Memory, CPU utilization, and DB Performance tuning - Make parameter configuration changes in HANA DB - Perform backup recovery and point in time recovery for both MDC and Non-MDC systems - Handle HANA outages like system down, system hang, and slowness situations by meeting required SLAs - Handle P1 and P2 related incidents and provide timely solutions to customers by meeting required KPIs - Drive the shift by taking shift lead responsibility (an added advantage) Qualifications Required: - Good understanding and knowledge of SAP HANA Database architecture - Knowledge of Basic Linux operating systems - Experience in HANA installation, upgrade, and renaming of HANA instances - Knowledge of HANA backups and recovery concepts - Ability to troubleshoot issues related to Backup-recovery, Memory, CPU utilization, and DB performance tuning - Experience in HANA user management Get empowered by NTT DATA Business Solutions!
