Assistant Professor for IT

Job Summary:

The Assistant Professor in Information Technology will be responsible for teaching IT-related subjects, guiding students in projects and research, and contributing to academic excellence through innovative teaching methods, curriculum development, and scholarly work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Technology.
• Conduct practical and lab sessions in areas such as programming, networking, database management, and software engineering.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and evaluation tools as per curriculum requirements.
• Guide students in academic projects, internships, and career development.
• Engage in research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
• Participate in departmental and university-level academic and administrative activities.
• Organize seminars, workshops, and training sessions for students.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT and incorporate them into teaching.
• Ensure adherence to university policies and maintain academic discipline.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
• M.Tech / M.E. in Information Technology or relevant discipline with First Class from a recognized university.
• Ph.D. in IT (preferred as per UGC/AICTE norms).
• Experience:
• 0–2 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
• Fresh candidates with strong technical and academic credentials may also apply.
• Eligibility:
• As per AICTE/UGC norms.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• Knowledge of Database Systems, Networking, Web Development, and Emerging Technologies (AI, ML, Cloud, IoT, Cybersecurity).
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Research aptitude and ability to guide projects effectively.
• Commitment to academic integrity and institutional development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
