Assistant Operations Manager

Small, agile team with high ownership. You’ll lead on-ground operations for a beautiful villa venue hosting intimate weddings and soon, wellness/goal‑oriented retreats.

What you’ll do

·       Keep all guest areas guest‑ready: rooms, lawns, banquet, washrooms (checklists + quick turnarounds).

·       Run event days: timelines, team briefs/debriefs, resets between functions, first‑response guest recovery.

·       Control inventory: par levels, issue/return logs, monthly audit; vendor follow‑ups for replenishment.

·       Coordinate staff & vendors: housekeeping, security, caterers, décor, sound/lighting, transport.

·       Welcome and tour walk‑in clients; capture requirements; escalate complex negotiations to the Owner.

·       Maintain daily ops log, incident notes; suggest practical SOP improvements.

·       Support retreat operations (as needed): facilitation logistics, activity schedules.

What makes you a fit

·       2–6 years in hotel/banquet/villa/event operations.

Languages:

·       Hands‑on leader: calm under pressure, fair and assertive with teams; willing to do grunt work.

·       Tech‑friendly: Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business; bonus for WATI/JotForm/Glide experience.

·       Basic understanding of AV/power coordination; sound norms; crowd management. Fire Safety

·       Weekend/night availability essential; two‑wheeler/LMV licence preferred.

Nice to have

·       Wedding ops exposure (Maharashtrian/North Indian/Gujarati/Marwari).

·       Inventory/audit experience; vendor SLAs.
