Job Description

The Assistant Manager - Security supports the Security Manager in overseeing all security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and property. This role involves supervising security staff, implementing security protocols, and maintaining a secure environment across assigned facilities.

Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily security operations
Monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
Conduct regular security patrols and inspections of premises
Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms promptly
Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
Supervise and coordinate security personnel schedules and assignments
Train security staff on protocols, procedures, and emergency response
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Ensure proper uniform standards and professional conduct
Oversee visitor registration and escort procedures
Manage key control and access card administration
Monitor entry/exit points and ensure compliance with access protocols
Assist in developing and updating emergency response procedures
Participate in emergency drills and evacuation exercises

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
3-5 years of security experience with 1-2 years in supervisory role
Experience in commercial real estate or corporate environments preferred
