Assistant Manager - Quality Control

Key Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Management:
• Supervise daily QC lab operations (physical, chemical, and microbiological testing).
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV, IR).
• Review and approve test results, COAs (Certificate of Analysis), and batch release documents.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, FDA, WHO-GMP, and international guidelines (like USFDA, EFSA if exporting).
• Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Testing and Analysis:
• Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.
• Implement method validation, stability studies, and impurity profiling.
• Maintain quality records as per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership:
• Train and mentor junior analysts and technicians.
• Coordinate with production, QA, R&D, and warehouse teams.
• Process Improvement:
• Help implement continuous improvements in lab procedures and quality systems.
• Support in deviation, OOS (Out of Specification), and CAPA investigations.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of nutraceutical ingredients (vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, probiotics, etc.).
• Expertise in analytical techniques: HPLC, GC, UV, IR, Titration, Dissolution testing, etc.
• Familiarity with GMP, GLP, ICH Guidelines, and ISO standards.
• Good documentation practices (GDP) and knowledge of LIMS systems.

Typical Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in:
• Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Chemistry/Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Food Science or related fields

5–8 years of experience in QC in pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
