Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Ensuring purchase of material in right time according to BOM.
  • Procurement of electronics ,mechanical and other components
  • Ensuring quality materials at optimum rates.
  • Maintaining good will with the vendors.
  • Negotiation with vendors.
  • Coordination with IQC for ensuring quality material.
  • Estimating costs & expenses for material purchases.
  • Coordination with material manager & vendors for negotiation.
  • Ensuring lead time management.
  • PO processing
  • Follow ups with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Verification of received materials according to the PO
  • Segregation of POs according to CAPEX/ OPEX & according to RM/PM/SS/SER/CG. Maintain various reports on daily and monthly basis for pending purchase order report, pending payment report.
  • Preparation of reports as per management requirement at times even on urgent basis. Compiling of reports into Excel format and sending the reports daily/monthly to account
