Assistant Manager - Project - Raw Material Handling Equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficient in AutoCAD with over 5 years of experience in reputed material handling equipment suppliers or consultancies
• Prepare layout proposals for various conveying systems including belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, etc.
• Create general arrangement (GA) drawings for mechanical conveying systems
• Develop detailed drawings for structural components such as gantries, trestles, and junction towers
• Prepare fabrication drawings for bins, hoppers, chutes, and other material handling equipment
• Generate bill of materials (BOM) for structural steel requirements
• Develop piping drawings for water and slurry lines as part of conveying systems
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine machining, fabrication, and assembly methods
• Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and propose practical solutions with minimal downtime
• Plan and execute on-site activities, including erection and commissioning of systems like:
• BOF Convertor (310 T), Movable Hood
• Relining Trolley, BOF Lance System
• Scrubbing Tower, Quencher Pump
• Material Handling System, Shuttle Belt Conveyor
• Manage fabrication and erection of heavy structures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Handle complete site management including estimation, planning, documentation, billing, and coordination with clients/vendors
• Lead and train site teams for effective project execution and performance improvement

Computer Proficiency:

AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Internet Applications, Windows OS
