Assistant Manager Operations

Role Overview: As a Fleet Operations Monitoring Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to monitor fleet operations for retrieval and carting purposes, ensuring timely and accurate connections of loads via the dedicated network. Key Responsibilities: - Plan BDA flight requirements in coordination with BDA to optimize capacity at the lowest costs - Ensure the connection of loads from service centers onto Hub through a dedicated network plan - Maintain the Air Network Master and update Network Service Guide, Area Masters, Transit Time Masters, etc., for correct routing and customer commitment adherence - Identify requirements for commercial flights and negotiate contracts for commercial air-lift as per business needs - Continuously seek opportunities for network optimization and utilization Qualifications Required: - Develop team capability and provide continuous support for effective task execution - Provide direction, guidance, and support to international staff employees for effective discharge of duties - Ensure international capability building for the team - Mentor and coach subordinates to develop team capabilities and succession pipeline Additional Details: The Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators for this role include: 1. Optimization of operating costs, measured by % reduction in costs through route optimization initiatives (for BDA flights) and % reduction in overall Operating Costs (OCPM) 2. Reach enhancement by ensuring network planning for new Pin Codes added for DP, Apex, and Time Definite Delivery 3. Ensure overall network health by driving air network setup, adherence to BDA flight connection timelines, and % Capacity Utilization of BDA flights 4. Support employee capability building, drive employee morale, and engagement by maintaining key positions with identified successors, managing employee attrition, and attrition percentage.,
