Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for coordinating on-site operational activities related to door-to-door waste collection operations in Goa. The role involves preparing and maintaining operational reports, ensure daily field activities, lead the local workforce, ensure high-quality service delivery, and support community engagement and business development efforts. The ideal candidate should possess a hands-on attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in coordinating daily field operations for door-to-door waste collection and ensure timely task execution.

· Supervise on-site activities, monitor field staff performance, and report operational updates to the Manager.

· Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including manpower deployment, route coverage, and service performance.

· Communicate operational plans, schedules, and instructions to field teams and ensure alignment with service standards.

· Monitor the usage and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment, and escalate issues as needed.

· Liaise with municipal officials, vendors, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and issue resolution.

· Document and escalate community complaints and assist in implementing corrective measures.

· Maintain and oversee the complaint register at site, ensuring timely logging and resolution of operational issues.

· Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all operational sites.

· Participate in field assessments, audits, and reviews as directed by the Manager.

· Support implementation of operational improvements based on field observations and data analysis.

· Schedule and manage vehicle deployment using the designated app and dashboard, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Waste Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field

· 2-5 years of experience in field operations, preferably in waste management or similar sectors.

· Experience in coordinating with field teams and stakeholder.

· Familiarity with local geography and municipal processes

· Proficiency in MS Office tools and digital reporting systems

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required

· Flexibility to work early morning shifts or weekends as required by field operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
