Assistant Manager - Capacity Planning & Management

The primary objective of this role is to enhance network capacity, ensuring consistent availability to support products and services that meet customer expectations. This is a hands-on operational role focused on executing capacity planning activities that directly influence daily network performance and reliability. Responsibilities include conducting Customer Circuit Validation, Network Analysis, Core Planning, and Migrations for IP services. Reserving Capacities and managing bandwidth on inventory management systems & closing tasks in a time-bound manner. Ensuring order completion related to capacity augmentation or modification within TAT. Driving the Edge capacity management for Migration/ Modernization Projects. Monitoring project status and adherence to project timelines & guiding the team on escalations. Reviewing traffic forecasts, past trends, and utilization reports to analyze trends. Understanding network topology & Customer requirements and proposing Solutions for migrating the circuit. Ensuring all documentations & databases are updated. Creating and maintaining SOPs, process maps, and knowledge articles. Mentoring new joiners and supporting upskilling initiatives. Driving automation, lean initiatives, and best practices. Desired Skill sets include experience in Validation/Network Analysis/Planning IP services, expertise in Telecom provisioning, capacity management solutions, experience in network management applications and data network, experience in Database applications like Remedy, Crammer etc, Infrastructure Sizing and Capacity management experience, and leadership skills are preferred.,
