Assistant Factory Manager

As an Assistant Factory Manager at our leading manufacturer of high-quality liquid filtration systems, your role is crucial in ensuring efficient production operations and meeting customer delivery timelines. You will be responsible for managing factory manpower, maintaining machinery, and upholding quality standards in accordance with ISO guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all factory operations to ensure efficient production, maintain quality standards, and manage manpower effectively. - Plan, schedule, and manage production to meet customer demands and targets. - Monitor daily production output, take corrective actions when necessary, and handle fabrication jobs with a workforce of 80 to 100 people. - Implement systematic workflow in fabrication jobs, similar to the automobile industry standards. - Implement and maintain quality standards, coordinate with the quality control team to reduce rework and rejection, and ensure adherence to ISO/Industry standards. - Supervise and guide department heads, operators, and workers, monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity, and coordinate training for shop floor employees. - Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed to minimize machine downtime and breakdowns. - Coordinate with the purchase department for raw material procurement, oversee store management, and shuffle labor across departments as needed. - Monitor operations of all departments, manage scrap materials, coordinate with the design team for any changes, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE usage. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality control processes. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a large workforce effectively. - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
