Job Description

Required an Assistant accountant for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and financial records, both digital and physical.
Perform accurate data entry for all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements with the general ledger to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
Schedule and process payments to vendors in a timely manner.
Prepare and issue invoices to customers and clients.
Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is often preferred.
Relevant certifications or a Diploma in Accounting can also be advantageous.
Experience:
Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is typically required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Xero).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables, formulas, and other data analysis tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
