Job Description

  1. Efficiency Optimization:

    • Confirm line attendance at the start of each shift and ensure full team availability.
    • Proactively maintain and improve line efficiency to achieve zero stoppages.
    • Identify bottlenecks, develop solutions, and eliminate productivity barriers
  2. Quality Control:

    • Enhance and maintain the Inline Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and Total Units Pass (TUP) ratios.
    • Drive continuous improvement by involving shop floor employees in quality initiatives.
    • Analyze defects and implement action plans to improve product quality.
  3. Defect Management (OS&D):

    • Ensure all rejected items are accurately tracked and accounted for.
    • Conduct thorough analyses of rejected parts on the line and take corrective actions to reduce rejection rates.
  4. Training and Skill Development:

    • Conduct regular training sessions to support multiskilling and contingency management.
    • Train new hires and ensure processes are defect-free, fostering a high level of competency.
  5. Safety Compliance:

    • Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
    • Conduct daily safety patrols, address violations, and raise awareness of safety practices.
  6. Daily Management System (DMS):

    • Perform periodic and scheduled checkpoints for process and equipment validation.
    • Ensure shift-wise confirmation of equipment checks to maintain operational consistency.
  7. Tool Handling (HIVIS):

    • Verify proper mounting tightness using electric tools to enhance assembly precision.
    • Monitor operator tool usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Employee Morale:

    • Actively engage and motivate line workers to maintain a positive work environment.
  9. Manpower Management:

    • Manage attrition rates by offering structured training and motivational support to operators.
  10. Management Information System (MIS) Reporting:

  • Manage essential line documentation, including Q-Calendar, Quality Management System (QMS) sheets, and Operator History Cards, ensuring accurate and timely updates
