Job Title: AS400/iSeries Operations Administrator

Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced AS400/iSeries Operations Administrator to manage and support our IBM i systems in a 24x7 environment. The ideal candidate will handle system monitoring, backups, job scheduling, performance tuning, and user administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily system operations, monitoring, and batch job management
• Administer user profiles, roles, and system security
• Manage backups, recovery tests, and ensure disaster recovery readiness
• Monitor and optimize system performance (CPU, memory, I/O, disk)
• Apply PTFs, perform OS upgrades, and maintain firmware
• Schedule and manage jobs (e.g., using Control-M or native tools)
• Handle customer support via chat and email
• Maintain audit and compliance standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with IBM i/AS400/iSeries
• Strong in CL programming, iSeries commands, and BRMS
• Experience with PowerHA, job scheduling, and system recovery
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
