Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled AI Developer with 2–3 years of software development experience and a passion for building intelligent systems. This requirement is for our Parent Company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing AI/ML solutions and a strong foundation in cloud-native development. Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry is highly desirable. This role will work under the guidance of the Systems Architect and collaborate closely with other developers to build scalable, secure, and innovative AI-powered applications.

Scope

The AI Developer will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled enterprise applications using Azure AI Foundry. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. The developer will work on real-world problems, participate in agile development cycles, and help operationalize AI models in production systems.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI/ML models into enterprise applications using Azure AI Foundry.
• Collaborate with the Systems Architect and development team to implement scalable and secure AI solutions.
• Assist in designing cloud-native applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the development of multi-agent systems and intelligent workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support the implementation of MLOps and GenAIOps practices for model lifecycle management.
• Help maintain documentation, versioning, and traceability of AI components.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Expertise

AI & Cloud Development

• Experience implementing AI/ML models using Python, C#, JAVA or similar languages.
• Preferred: Software development experience in

  .NET C#

• Familiarity with Azure AI services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services).
• Bonus: Exposure to Azure AI Foundry and its AI Design Areas (application design, data platform, training data, grounding data, operations, testing).
• Understanding of MLOps pipelines and responsible AI practices.

Cloud & Systems

• Basic knowledge of Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Bonus:
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, AKS).
• Exposure to microservices and event-driven architecture is a plus.

Development & Tooling

• Proficiency in software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, data pipelines, and integration frameworks.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Demonstrated experience with AI/ML projects (academic, professional, or open-source).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
