Architect

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Coordination & Supervision

• Monitor and supervise architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Resolve on-site design and construction issues in coordination with contractors and consultants.

2. Execution Monitoring

• Ensure timely and quality execution of architectural finishes and detailing.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high aesthetic and functional standards.

3. Design Intent Implementation

• Work closely with the design team to translate architectural designs into on-ground execution.
• Suggest practical modifications on site without compromising design integrity.

4. Quality Control

• Check materials, workmanship, and finishes to ensure they meet quality standards and architectural detailing.
• Approve mock-ups, material samples, and prototype installations before mass execution.

5. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Liaise with vendors for materials and finishes.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, and civil teams to ensure smooth integration of services.

6. Drawings & Documentation

• Review GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and ensure they are updated on site.
• Maintain proper documentation of design changes, RFIs, and site instructions.

7. Client & Consultant Interaction

• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide timely updates on progress and highlight design-related concerns.

8. Compliance & Regulations

• Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety norms, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with authorities and support in obtaining statutory approvals if required.

9. Interior Coordination (if applicable)

• Support interior execution teams for layout validations and integration with architectural features.
• Oversee installation of architectural elements like facades, cladding, railings, etc.

10. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare weekly progress reports and highlight deviations or challenges.
• Assist in preparing project close-out documentation from an architectural standpoint.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (basic), and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and finishes
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on site
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
