Application Security Engineer

As an Application Security Engineer (AppSec Engineer), you play a crucial role in cybersecurity by focusing on securing software applications from design to deployment. Your responsibilities include identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and collaborating with developers to ensure applications are secure by design. - Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment: You will identify potential vulnerabilities and risks in applications. - Code Reviews and Security Assessments: Analyze code for security flaws and conduct security assessments of applications. - Penetration Testing: Simulate attacks to test the application's security posture. - Developing Security Tools and Frameworks: Create tools and frameworks to assist developers in building secure applications. - Working with Developers: Collaborate with developers to integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle. - Implementing Security Policies and Protocols: Ensure applications adhere to security standards and best practices. - Monitoring Applications for Vulnerabilities: Detect and respond to security incidents. - Educating Developers on Secure Coding Practices: Provide training to developers on writing secure code. - Age limit: 18 to 30 years - Language preferred: Tamil only - Freshers and college students are welcome.
