Job Description

About the Role:

Application Performance Engineer

Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

Monitor application performance in real-time and during peak load scenarios using APM tools (e.g.,
Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog
).
Analyze backend and frontend performance metrics, logs, and traces to detect bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other anomalies.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend fixes or optimizations.

Load & Stress Testing:

Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing using tools like
JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6
, or custom scripts.
Establish performance benchmarks and SLAs for key application components.
Generate test reports and dashboards to visualize performance trends over time.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g.,
AWS, Azure, GCP
) and performance optimization in cloud-native environments.
Experience with log aggregation and observability tools (e.g.,
ELK Stack, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana
).
Knowledge of database optimization techniques (e.g., indexing, query tuning).
Experience integrating performance testing into DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
