Application Developer Intern

About our group:

We are a team of Seagate Drive Factory MES (Manufacturing Execution System) developers based in China. Our team provides solutions including software architecture /design and application development. The applications and services are deployed in China, Thailand, Singapore and US.

About the role - you will:

. Work closely with our MES development team to develop in-house applications and support worldwide users.
. Participating in data-related technical issues.. Participating in software testing and function enhancement to ensure data accuracy and data quality, format verification etc.

About you:

. Master's degree in computer science, IT or similar field. Ph.D. a plus
. Good learning ability and problem-solving skills.. Good communication skills in English.. Excellent systematic logical analysis and troubleshooting ability.. Competency of teamwork, self-learning and self-motivation.

Your experience includes:

. Knowledge of programming language, Python or Java, Java is preferred.
. Knowledge of Big Data ecosystem, including but not limited to technologies such as Apache Spark, Trino, K8S, Object Storage.. Hands-on experience of databases, understanding SQL or NoSQL databases.. Hands-on experience of web application development.. Understanding software testing processes and methods.
