About The Role

Project Role :Application Developer

Project Role Description :Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Summary:We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) Technical Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and supporting the Oracle CC&B application, with a solid understanding of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and utility industry business processes. You will be responsible for technical design, development, testing, and implementation of CC&B enhancements and integrations.
Roles & Responsibilities:Design and develop technical solutions within the Oracle CC&B application based on business requirements.Customize CC&B components using Java, XML, XAI, OUAF, and Oracle Utilities SDK.Build and maintain batch jobs, plug-ins, algorithms, scripts, and interfaces.Develop and support CC&B integrations using web services (SOAP/REST), middleware (Oracle SOA Suite, MuleSoft, etc.), and external systems.Work with functional consultants, business analysts, and QA teams to translate functional designs into technical solutions.Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-go-live support.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.Maintain technical documentation for all enhancements and customizations.Participate in performance tuning and optimization of CC&B modules.Collaborate in Agile or Waterfall delivery models as per project needs.Professional & Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of CC&B architecture, configurations, and modules such as Billing, Payments, Credit & Collection, and Financials.Strong understanding of OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework)Proficiency in Java, Groovy, PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle DB.Familiarity with CC&B integrations using XAI, XSLT, and XPathGood understanding of utility industry business processes (Customer Service, Billing, Payments, etc.).Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, and Ant Scripts, as well as experience with WebLogic Server and performance management tools. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture-Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B, including at least one full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power/Water/Sewer).- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience is required Qualification
