Role Overview: As a Senior ABAP Developer at EY, you will play a crucial role in leading the Development & Engineering team in your area of specialism, ensuring the team has the right capabilities. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software Developers, Designers, and Domain Experts in an Agile working model. Your role will involve assuming responsibility for designing, developing, implementing, and testing end-to-end business processes with a strong focus on quality. Additionally, you will guide team development efforts, collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the team, and work towards successful product delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Development & Engineering team in your area of specialism and develop the team's capabilities - Work closely with Product Owners, Software Developers, Designers, and Domain Experts in an Agile working model - Assume additional technical, organizational, or coordination tasks as required - Strategically leverage networks to drive innovation, best practices, and a culture of continuous improvement - Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside the team and with Business Owners - Design, develop, implement, and test complete end-to-end business processes with a focus on quality - Guide team development efforts towards successful product delivery - Collaborate with designers and domain experts in a diverse team applying Scrum and agile development - Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team - Work effectively in a fast-paced and changing business environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related field preferred - B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT/NIT/any tier 1 Institute preferred - 5-7 years of experience in software development primarily in SAP technologies - Strong development skills in areas such as ABAP, OO ABAP, AMDP, BOPF, Analytical Queries, SQL Script, NetWeaver Gateway, CDS Views, and troubleshooting ABAP code - Knowledge of SAPUI5, FIORI APPS extension/configurations, SAP BAS tool, JavaScript/jQuery, MVC framework, and strong focus on Database - Experience in OData/Rest protocols, HANA OData Services, and Azure DevOps process for On-prem/Cloud applications - Techno-functional knowledge in SD, FI, SD, Asset Management, etc. - Strong analytical capabilities, logical skills, and Solution designing experience - Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes Additional Company Details (if any): EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, where technology plays a vital role in delivering client services and driving innovation.
