Job Description

High-Level Product Development: Draft high-level product specifications and translate them into code, ensuring attention to system integrity, feasibility, quality, security, maintainability, and modularity.

Technology Advocacy:
Champion the use of appropriate technologies and define streamlined workflows to adhere to coding standards, ensuring efficient and effective development processes.

Collaborative Problem-Solving:
Collaborate with teams globally to address production escalations, working closely with the reliability team to achieve timely resolutions for customer issues.

Peer Review and Collaboration: Actively participate in peer review discussions encompassing requirements, specifications, designs, code, and other artifacts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise

8+ years of experiencein IBM AIOps/Observability platform development and configuration

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in IBM CP4AIOps:

o Probe Rules Development(Netcool/Omnibus or Cloud Pak-based) o Python scripting/Java for Topolgy Mediation, including creating dynamic and static templates for topology ingestion o Impact Policy Design and Modeling o IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps Configuration o OpenShift Administration and Security

Experience with tools likeNetcool Event Manager,Kafka,AIOps Topology

Proficiency inShell scripting, and automation (e.g.,Ansible,Python).

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across large-scale hybrid environments. Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving ability

Preferred technical and professional experience

Confident facilitator of customer workshops and design sessions.

Calm under pressure; thrives in multi-vendor environments.

Natural mentor who promotes knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement
