Application Architect

As a highly experienced Senior Application Architect at Ness Digital Engineering, your role will involve leading large-scale modernization programs by leveraging your architectural vision, hands-on engineering skills, and deep expertise in legacy system transformation. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the reverse engineering of legacy architectures and defining target state architectures aligned with business objectives. - Architecting and designing microservices-based, cloud-native applications on Azure. - Defining design patterns, standards, and reusable frameworks to accelerate modernization and ensure consistency. - Applying automation, AI, and LLM-powered tools for reverse engineering, refactoring, and modernization at scale. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery. - Providing hands-on coding expertise in C#, .NET Core, Azure, and full-stack development to validate architecture through working prototypes. - Ensuring security, scalability, and performance considerations are embedded into all designs. - Mentoring engineering teams and evangelizing modern design practices across the organization. - Partnering with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and operational goals. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in application architecture, design, and development. - Proven expertise in microservices architecture, service design, and cloud-native applications. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services. - Deep background in reverse engineering legacy applications and designing target-state solutions. - Strong coding experience in C#, .NET Core, and full-stack development. - Experience defining design patterns, reusable components, and architecture frameworks. - Exposure to automation tools, AI, and LLM-powered solutions for modernization. - Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization. In addition to the above, Ness Digital Engineering is seeking a candidate who has experience in enterprise-scale modernization programs, knowledge of data architecture and schema consolidation approaches, familiarity with tools such as CAST, SonarQube, GitHub Copilot, or Azure AI/ML services, and prior experience working in agile, sprint-based environments.,
