Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responds to customer inquiries, resolves and closes problem tickets within the SLA
Responds to operation monitoring events in test and production environments
Monitor and manage applications to ensure availability and stability
Escalates to Level 3 support as required
Coordinate with various Business, Platform and vendor teams, work on User Tickets adhering to the SLAs.
Provide support on weekends for application changes and patching activities
Work with Various partners and Technology teams for quick restoration and ensure Application availability.
Provide timely solution to incidents and escalate appropriately as required.
Take the lead for the issues and drive them to closure.
Technical and Functional, Work on User Tickets, perform Application Health Checks, status reporting, work on User Requests, Improvement/Automation and other BAU responsibilities.
Collaborate and follow up with Development teams and other Technology Partner teams to restore application from an outage (Incident Management) and perform Root Cause Analysis (Problem Management).
Building SME knowledge from both domain and technology will be essential to be successful with platform goals.
Ensuring BCP Readiness, Backup / Recovery implementation.
Participate in Major Incident Calls.
Proficient in Unix Shell scripting, Python scripting, Ansible with strong automation skills.
Knowledge on Monitoring tools.
