Appian Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions using the

  Appian BPM platform

  .
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop

  Process Models, Record Types, Interfaces, and Integrations

  using Appian best practices.
• Build and maintain

  Appian plug-ins, expressions, and smart services

  as needed.
• Optimize existing applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using

  Web Services (REST/SOAP), APIs

  , and other integration mechanisms.
• Design and write

  SQL queries, stored procedures

  , and ensure smooth data communication between Appian and backend databases.
• Participate in

  code reviews

  , testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Appian applications.
• Stay updated on the latest Appian versions, features, and best practices to recommend improvements.

Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years

  of hands-on Appian development experience (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of

  Appian architecture, design patterns

  , and implementation strategies.
• Proficient in

  Appian Process Models, Record Types, Reports, Sites, and Interfaces.

• Experience in developing

  integrations

  using Appian Connected Systems and Web APIs.
• Working knowledge of

  SQL / Stored Procedures

  and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Appian Certified Associate Developer / Senior Developer / Lead Developer

  certification.
• Experience in

  Agile methodology

  and DevOps pipeline integrations.
• Exposure to

  Appian Cloud

  environment and deployment automation.
• Basic knowledge of

  Java / JavaScript / HTML / CSS

  for Appian customization.
• Experience in

  integration with third-party systems

  (e.g., CRM, ERP, RESTful APIs).

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
