Job Description:

The API Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable RESTful APIs to support system integration, particularly in DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) or financial platforms. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that ensure seamless communication between systems while adhering to industry-standard security protocols.

Responsibilities:

Database Strategy & Architecture

· Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for system integration.

· Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.

· Implement and maintain API security standards such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.

· Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API development and security.

Skills Required:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in API development.

· Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or similar.

· Experience with DBT or financial platforms and understanding of their integration requirements.

· In-depth knowledge of API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and HTTPS.

· Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.

· Experience with version control systems like Git.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualification:

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API gateways.

· Knowledge of microservices architecture.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Fluency in English and Hindi (Speaking, reading & writing).

· Fluency in Assamese preferable.
