Android Developer

We are seeking a talented Android developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Android development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Android developer with a strong portfolio of Android apps.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and third-party libraries and APIs.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
