Android App Developer

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance app features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Create interactive UI components that cater to fast-paced inspection workflows.
Ensure offline capability, secure data handling, and smooth syncing with the cloud.
Work closely with our content, tech, and training teams to ensure functional and aesthetic alignment with maritime use cases.
Write unit-tested, scalable, and maintainable code.
Contribute to QA testing and deployment processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in
Kotlin
and
Jetpack Compose
.
Experience building complex Android applications with attention to performance and usability.
Familiarity with Room DB, Retrofit, coroutines, and lifecycle-aware components.
Proficient in Git and remote development workflows.
Excellent communication skills and proactive in taking ownership.

Good to Have

Familiarity with Git-based collaboration, especially GitHub Copilot.
