Android Architect

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Android Automotive's System/Software-Architecture across all major software layers. This includes a deep knowledge of the AOSP code base, extension points, and compatibility. Familiarity with Android's relevant certifications such as CTS/GAS is required. Moreover, the candidate should demonstrate excellent skills in drafting, documenting, implementing, and verifying software architectures for Android-based software, including middleware, apps, and SystemUI. Experience in working with development teams consisting of more than 100 developers and implementing common architectures across multiple teams is essential. A good grasp of the automotive domain is necessary to integrate automotive requirements into Android-based systems, especially in areas like Instrument Cluster, Head Unit, and Other Displays. Strong Android software development skills are a must-have for this role. Additionally, effective communication skills and a proactive attitude in collaborating with various stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and other relevant parties, are vital.
