Key Responsibilities
Media Capture: Build reliable video/audio recording using CameraX/Camera2 and MediaRecorder.
Streaming: Implement live and on-demand video playback using ExoPlayer/WebRTC/HLS/DASH.
Video Editing: Handle trimming, merging, overlays, and exporting using MediaCodec/FFmpeg.
Networking: Work with Retrofit/OkHttp and WebSockets for real-time data and adaptive streaming.
Offline Storage: Design Room/SQLite databases with offline-first sync via WorkManager.
UI & UX: Develop orientation-aware, responsive layouts and gradually introduce Jetpack Compose.
Performance: Optimize network speed, video bitrates, buffering, and reliability.
Modernization: Refactor legacy Java code into Kotlin, apply Clean Architecture (MVVM), and use DI (Hilt/Koin).
Quality & Release: Ensure testing, CI/CD integration, crash reporting, and Play Store compliance.
