Analytics Engineer

Role Overview: You will be at the intersection of banking and analytics, diving deep into the banking domain to understand and define metrics, and into the technical domain to implement and present metrics through business intelligence tools. You will be part of the Zafin Product Team, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Analytics, working on a next-generation analytics product to help banks maximize the financial wellness of their clients. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and define relevant metrics for financial services such as product, pricing, and relationship. - Develop complex data models to integrate and aggregate data effectively. - Design and implement data visualization and reports based on user needs and available data. - Work closely with the Data Engineering team to automate the calculation of metrics. - Coach and mentor Data Analysts on data visualization best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - Ability to understand complex business objectives and translate them into measurable metrics. - Proficiency in writing efficient and readable SQL scripts for computing metrics. - Strong understanding of data modeling techniques for designing well-structured tables and relationships. - Proficient in modern BI-tools and experience with data visualization. - Proficiency in Python for data analysis. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively. - Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines. - Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and problem-solving skills.
