Job Description

As a Visium Systems Analyst (VSA) at Zelis India, your role is pivotal in analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems to enhance claims editing efficiency and effectiveness. You will need a deep understanding of both technical and business requirements to bridge the gap between technology and claims editing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for the Claims Editing team, translating them into technical specifications for the Visium Development team. You will design detailed system designs, workflow diagrams, and user interfaces to align with business objectives. Testing and validating Visium enhancements and development efforts related to Claims Editing will be a key aspect of your role. You will also provide support in the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of Visium Claims Editing requests. Diagnosing and resolving system issues, offering technical support, and troubleshooting guidance to end-users will be part of your responsibilities. You will create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials, and serve as a Visium subject matter expert. Identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, recommending innovative solutions to drive efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies are essential aspects of your role. Your ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and manage projects to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes will be critical. The ideal candidate for this role should have proven experience as a Systems Analyst in healthcare or a similar role, with a strong understanding of software development and claims editing systems. Basic knowledge of programming languages, database management, and system integration is preferred, along with advanced skills in Excel. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with diverse groups to achieve common goals are essential. A current certified coder (CCS, CCS-P, or CPC) certification is preferred for this role. The work environment may involve travel, work-from-home, and in-office requirements as per the standards set by the India office and reporting managers. Your ability to adapt to additional time/effort outside of standard parameters based on the team's needs and deadlines is crucial.
