Analog Product Engineer (Material Science)

The IPP-MPP product line offers high-performance, innovative, and cost-effective power solutions for a broad range of customer applications in enterprise, communications, and automotive sectors. This includes multiple phase DC/DC controllers, smart power stages, and sequencers. In the MPP team, the mission is to deliver converter solutions that power large CPU, SOC, ASIC platforms in the rapidly expanding Enterprise Computing/Datacenter market. Target platforms include Intel, AMD, ARM, NVidia, and custom ASIC/FPGAs from various vendors. Product Engineering (PE) collaborates with design, systems, and back-end (test/val) teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and reliability. PEs focus on a product family or category, ensuring devices meet specifications and quality targets as defined in data sheets. They may also engage in "sustaining support," optimizing the manufacturing flow of devices post-release to reduce costs and enhance long-term development and profitability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Development work on a range of Power devices - Collaboration across teams for new product development and production release - Designing boards to qualify Power products - Evaluation, debug, and characterization of integrated circuits - Root cause analysis of reliability and qualification failures - Development and qualification of process and package technologies - Collaboration with manufacturing facilities for product quality and yield management - Qualifying second-source suppliers for device continuity of supply - Test conversion, yield improvements, and cost reductions - Handling material builds post-design release - Managing customer returns with root cause analysis Minimum requirements: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or ECE - 2-5 years of relevant experience - Strong technical background with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation Preferred qualifications: - Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits - Hands-on experience with lab equipment for data collection and device analysis - Bench testing of various circuits and devices - Experience with integrated circuit failure analysis - Programming skills for automation and testing - Knowledge of statistics for data analysis - Ability to work in a team setup and manage projects effectively - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive for results - Time management skills for on-time project delivery,
